By JULIETTE ROSSANT

James Beard Foundation's Taste of America 2007

Is there a difference between a meal created by women chefs and one created by men?

One way to find out is to attend the James Beard Foundation's Taste America dinner in San Francisco's St. Regis Hotel on Friday, September 28, 2007. Five of America's top women chefs will be preparing the meal, paired with wine created by women winemakers. The chefs include: Gale Gand, Traci Des Jardins, Nancy Oakes, Joanne Weir, and Cindy Pawlcyn.
