SOS's Bill Shore: Top Leader

By JULIETTE ROSSANT Last week, US News & World Report honored Bill Shore as one of 25 among "America's Best Leaders," chosen by a committee headed by the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Others include Oprah Winfrey Steve Jobs, and Colin Powell. The award comes on the 20th anniversary of Share Our Strength. Pat Nicklin, SOS's Managing Director, said: While it is always satisfying to have our work affirmed by others, it can't compare to the satisfaction that comes from advancing our efforts to end childhood hunger, address poverty, and achieve scale and sustainability for great programs that work.
