Superchefblog has obtained the complete list of restaurants rated in the Michelin Guide: New York 2006, which goes on sale Friday, November 4, 2005.
In all of New York City, only four (4) restaurants received the coveted three stars -- all of whom are "super chefs" by our definition. There were also four two-stars awarded, 31 one-stars, and 468 "good addresses."
And so Michelin enters the American market, perhaps not so much elevating as weeding out the contenders -- not to mention over 20,000 other restaurants in New York City alone which go unmentioned.
Look out, Zagat: Michelin is coming to town...
