super chef: Bobby Flay
BIO: Bobby Flay is both a chef/restaurateur and a Food Network star. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute, he worked for Jonathan Waxman who introduced him to Southwest cuisine. Flay first got critical attention at the Miracle Grill and then opened his first restaurant, Mesa Grill in 1991. He followed with Spanish restaurant Bolo in 1993. Bobby has starred in numerous Food Network shows and has written five cookbooks, most of which are connected with his TV programs. He became a super chef when he opened a Mesa Grill clone in Las Vegas and then a new Bobby Flay Steak concept in the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. He also opened Bar Americain in New York.
